Our main office is located in Helsinki, but due to covid-19 situation the whole team currently works remotely.

Intro to the position

We are looking for a “player/manager” type of sales manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the continued development of our commercial plan both strategically and tactically. Our main target is to continue growing our business in the North American market. Ideally, we would like this person to live in one of the Nordic countries or Europe. You will report directly to our CEO.

As our Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include

• Act in a “Player/Manager” role carrying your own quota, as a part of the teams quota, and closing your own deals
• Coach and provide feedback to a remote sales team in the areas of sales/personal development, direction and focus
• Assist in the recruiting, staffing and training to grow and maintain a sales team
• Formulate and execute on monthly and quarterly sales plans
• Assist sales team with client meetings, presentations and negotiations
• Conduct weekly forecast review and quarterly progress review sessions with each representative
• Manage productivity, funnel of opportunities and quality to ensure the team meets established goals and standards
• Ongoing process improvements, recommendations and implementation of systems that will make our team more efficient 
• May require modified work hours to cover accounts in the North American time zones, and occasional travel for key accounts

To be successful in this role requires

• Minimum 4 years of experience leading high performing sales teams
• Excellent communications and leadership skills
• Must be a team player
• Experience selling into North American businesses
• Solid understanding of the ins and outs of outbound sales
• Must have prior quota carrying (demonstrable) sales experience
• Expert knowledge of the full B2B SaaS sales cycle, from prospecting, cold calling through to negotiation and closing
• Ability to provide situational coaching and advice and help guide deals to closure
• Technical aptitude, and ability to learn new concepts quickly
• Experience from working with startups is a strong plus
• Experience from similar products is a plus

Compensation

A competitive base salary and commission package will be offered. We’ve also put in place an attractive option program for this role.
